Your stream shouldn't end just because your connection did.
BearsRelay is a self-hosted stream relay designed for streamers who want a simple way to keep their broadcast alive during disconnects.
Run BearsRelay on a computer at home and stream through it instead of directly to your streaming platform. If your incoming stream drops, BearsRelay can automatically switch to a fallback video, image, or audio source, keeping your broadcast alive while you reconnect.
No expensive hosted relay service. No monthly VPS bill. No complicated collection of tools you have to configure from scratch.
If you have a stable home internet connection and a capable computer, BearsRelay is intended to provide an all-in-one package for running your own relay server from home without recurring hosting fees.
Planned features include:
- Automatic fallback during stream disconnects
- Video, image, and audio fallback options
- Configurable fallback timing
- Simple graphical setup
- Stream destination and key configuration
- SRT ingest for unreliable/mobile connections
- Remote server status and controls
- Designed to run on your own hardware
BearsRelay is currently in development.
